5. Managing use restrictions ❻ Check the [Add Unregistered Item] check box. The [Other Login Names] and their use restrictions are displayed in the [Policy for Login Name] list. Setting use restrictions to the application name If required, use restrictions can be set to the application name. Add the settings using one of the following methods. • Adding manually • Adding from the log 5 ❼ Click [Add] at the bottom of the window. Adding manually ❶ Check that the printer power is ON. ❷ Start the server software. ❸ Click the [Policy] menu > [Edit Policy]. ❹ Click the [Application] tab. Proceed to "Adding settings to printers" (page 93). Note! If the "Adding settings to printers" (page 93) steps are not executed, the set use restrictions are not registered to the printer. ❺ Enter the application name that you want to add settings to in the application name input field. - 82 -
