5. Managing use restrictions ❼ Click [Add] in the Policy field. The added document name and use restrictions are displayed in the [Policy for Document Names/URLs] list. 5 ❽ Click [Add] at the bottom of the window. Adding unregistered item settings Use restrictions can be set for document names that are not registered on the printer. ❶ Check that the printer power is ON. ❷ Start the server software. ❸ Click the [Policy] menu > [Edit Policy]. ❹ Click the [Document] tab. ❺ Select the use restrictions that you want to use. Proceed to "Adding settings to printers" (page 93). Note! If the "Adding settings to printers" (page 93) steps are not executed, the set use restrictions are not registered to the printer. Enable Printing Allows printing. Print in Mono When color printing is executed, printing is output in monochrome. Disable Color Printing Cancels color printing. Use restrictions can be set for document
names that are not registered on the
printer.
Check that the printer power is ON.
Start the server software.
Click the [Policy] menu > [Edit Policy].
Click the [Document] tab.
Select the use restrictions that you want
to use.
Enable Printing
Allows printing.
Print in Mono
When color printing is executed, printing is output
in monochrome.
Disable Color Printing
Cancels color printing. If there is color data part-
way through a print job, all printing from that
point onwards is cancelled.
