Pressing the button again reselects the previous listening mode. „„Pure Analog Playback (on the main unit only) If you connect a CD player or such other player to the AUDIO IN jacks of the unit with analog audio (RCA) cable, you can use the "Pure Analog Playback function" that physically shuts down the digital circuits affecting sound reproduction and enables cleaner sound playback. If this function is on, the power of the analog video circuit, HDMI circuit, digital audio circuit, and tuner circuit is cut off and their interference with sound playback is physically prevented. To use the function, hold down PURE AUDIO on the main unit 5 seconds during playback. When "Pure Analog [Enter] OK" appears on the main unit display, press ENTER on the main unit. To turn off the function, press ON/STANDBY on the main unit. ●● When the function is on, you can perform only input selection and volume adjustment. It cannot be operated with Onkyo Remote or any other application that can control the unit. ●● It cannot be used when "TUNER", "NET", or "BLUETOOTH" input is selected or the multi-zone function is on. ●● The Auto Standby setting becomes off if the function is on. Using the Listening Modes Checking the Input Format While audio from the player is being input, press DISPLAY on the remote controller several times to switch the information shown on the main unit display. For example, if "Dolby D 5.1" is displayed, the Dolby Digital 5.1 ch signals are being input. ●● The number of channels is not displayed when the input signal is "Dolby Atmos" format. ●● Selecting Pure Audio for listening mode turns off the display and analog video circuitry, but the video signals input through HDMI input are output from HDMI output. PURE AUDIO button (on the main unit only)
The display and analog video circuit are turned off to switch
the unit to Pure Audio mode which provides purer sound.
Selecting this mode lights the PURE AUDIO indicator on
the unit. Pressing the button again reselects the previous
listening mode.
Selecting Pure Audio for listening mode turns off the
display and analog video circuitry, but the video signals
input through HDMI input are output from HDMI output.

Pure Analog Playback (on the main unit only)
If you connect a CD player or such other player to the
AUDIO IN jacks of the unit with analog audio (RCA) cable,
you can use the "Pure Analog Playback function" that
physically shuts down the digital circuits affecting sound
reproduction and enables cleaner sound playback. If
this function is on, the power of the analog video circuit,
HDMI circuit, digital audio circuit, and tuner circuit is cut
off and their interference with sound playback is physically
prevented.
To use the function, hold down PURE AUDIO on the main
unit 5 seconds during playback.
When "Pure Analog
[Enter] OK" appears on the main unit display, press ENTER
on the main unit. To turn off the function, press
ON/STANDBY on the main unit.
When the function is on, you can perform only input
selection and volume adjustment. It cannot be operated
with Onkyo Remote or any other application that can
control the unit.
It cannot be used when "TUNER", "NET", or
"BLUETOOTH" input is selected or the multi-zone
function is on.

Checking the Input Format
While audio from the player is being input, press DISPLAY

information shown on the main unit display. For example, if
"Dolby D 5.1" is displayed, the Dolby Digital 5.1 ch signals
are being input.
The number of channels is not displayed when the input
signal is "Dolby Atmos" format.
