If any disk is unpartitioned, the program will automatically recognize it as the destination and bypass this step. 13.3.4 Partitioned destination disk At this point, the program checks to see if the destination disk is free. If not, you will be prompted by the Conformation window stating that the destination disk contains partitions, perhaps with useful data. To confirm deletion of the partitions, click OK. Note that no real changes or data destruction will be performed at this time! For now, the program will just map out cloning. All changes will be implemented only when you click Proceed. If you selected the automatic mode, the program will not ask you anything else and will take you to the cloning summary window. 13.3.5 Selecting partition transfer method When you select the manual cloning mode, Seagate BlackArmor Backup will offer you the following data move methods: • As is • Proportional - the new disk space will be proportionally distributed among cloned partitions • Manual - you will specify the new size and other parameters yourself Copyright (c) 2000-2009 Acronis.
