CHAPTER 5. SERVICE MENU/VARIOUS SETTING TOOL OPERATING PROCEDURES 5. NTSC SETUP LEVEL To change the set up level of NTSC. 1 ) Display the SERVICE MENU2. 2 ) Select [NTSC SETUP LEVEL] by the button [VOL+ ( 2 )][VOL- ( 4 )], and press the button [BRIGHT+ ( 3 )]. 3 ) Select [0IRE] or [7.5IRE] by the button [BRIGHT- ( 1 )][BRIGHT+ ( 3 )], and press the [MENU] button. 6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR LAUNCHER TOOL ■ TOOL OPERATING ENVIRONMENT n Windows XP n Windows Vista n Windows 7 MEMO n Log in with the administrator's right. ■ INSTALLATION PROCEDURES 1 ) All tools are provided in a zip file. Extract a zip file to the drive ( C:\). CAUTION n When a space is included in the folder pass, it may not run properly. 2 ) Where it doesn't have "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Library" installed, execute "vcredist_x86.exe" to install the library. * When the message: "Command line option syntax error, Type Command /? for Help." is displayed, the user name may contain some 2-byte characters (Japanese). Log in with the user name of 1-byte characters (English) having administrative right, and install it. If there is no user name created, newly create a user name through the User Account in the Control Panel. ■ USE INSTRUCTIONS 1 ) Execute "ServiceToolsLauncher.exe" in the folder where the service tool is extracted. 2 ) Once the service tool is booted, press the button as needed to conduct operations. MEMO n If it cannot be executed, the library may not be installed. In this case, please install the library, referring to Installation Procedures shown above. 3Refer to page 5 - 3 "■ INSTALLATION PROCEDURES". n In the case of Windows Vista/7, the window of "User Account Control" is displayed as shown below, so you need to click [Permit] or [Yes].
