CHAPTER 8. TROUBLESHOOTING 7. NO RESPONSE FOR TOUCHING No Is the USB cable connected properly? Yes No Is it connected to the USB port of the PC or to a self-powered USB hub? Yes No Are the drivers installed? (Check to confirm that "NextWindow 2500 Drivers" are installed on the program and function menu of the control panel.) Yes Yes Is the OS Windows7? No Connect the USB cable properly. Connect it to the USB port of the PC or to a self-powered USB hub. Install the drivers. Yes Check the "Pen and Touch" on the control panel Is "Finger is used as an input device." in the touch tab checked? No Put a check mark. Is "Touch enable" in the "User Touch Yes Environment Setting" of "RSCU" checked? No Put a check mark. Is "NextWindow Low Rider Touch Screen" Yes displayed in "Human Interface Devices" of the device manager? No No (Open the back cabinet.) Are the control PWB, the USB cable, and the FFC cable properly connected? Yes No Any problem with the USB cable? Yes Replace the touch panel (protection glass with the camera, control PWB). Refer to page 8 - 5 " 8. THE TOUCH POSITION IS SHIFTED". Connect the USB cable and the FFC cable properly. Replace the USB cable. MEMO n When the main unit is pressed strongly or a considerable pressure is applied to the sensor section, the sensor correction process is performed.
