34 Finding Your Way Around Front with the display open indicator for a secondary battery, if one is seated in the Modular Bay. CAUTION: Never turn off the computer while any drive is in use. Doing so may damage the media and result in loss of data. CD or DVD control buttons The control buttons on the top of the computer are for playing CDs and DVDs. Stop/eject Next track Volume control Play/pause Previous track CD/DVD Media Player power switch CD or DVD control buttons The volume control allows you to set the volume level. The CD/DVD/Media Player power switch is discussed in "CD/DVD/Media Player power switch" on page 35. The previous track button returns to the preceding track on the disc. The play/pause button starts playing the disc, or pauses the disc if it is currently playing. The next track button skips to the following track on the disc. The stop/eject button stops a disc that is currently playing. Press the button again to eject the disc.
