Serial No. seal 4-3 Tighten each screw of the Memory Module to each female screw of the MOXF with your hand as shown below. 5 Re-install the cover you removed in step 3, in reverse order. 6 Check that the installed Module or Modules are functioning properly. 6-1 Turn the MOXF right side up again so that the keyboard faces up then turn the power on. While launching, you will see a message indicating that the Flash Memory Module cannot be recognized. 6-2 Press the [FILE] button to enter the File mode then press the [F6] FLASH button. 6-3 Press the [SF1] Format button. 6-4 Press the [ENTER] button to execute the Format operation. 6-5 Check whether the Total size shown on the display is correct or not. NOTICE • If you cannot loosen the screw with your hand, use a Phillips screwdriver. In this case, be careful NOT to scratch the circuit board of the FL512M/FL1024M and MOXF. • Since the screws can be removed from the module, be careful NOT to drop them inside the instrument when loosening them. 2 Pull out the FL512M/FL1024M vertically. 3 Attach the cover to the bottom panel. Removing the Module

Loosen both the screws.
NOTICE
If you cannot loosen the screw with your hand, use a Phillips
screwdriver. In this case, be careful NOT to scratch the circuit
board of the FL512M/FL1024M and MOXF.
Since the screws can be removed from the module, be careful NOT
to drop them inside the instrument when loosening them.

Pull out the FL512M/FL1024M vertically.

Attach the cover to the bottom panel.
Position the cover on the bottom panel aligning the screws
with the screw holes, then tighten the screws with a Phillips
screwdriver to fix the cover.
