Adjusting the audio balance Adjusting the audio balance You can adjust the sound beam output level of each channel by using the test tone or the audio output being played back in each beam mode to achieve a more true-to-life surround sound experience. Using the test tone You can use the test tone feature to output a test tone from each channel to manually balance the channel levels. Use this to set the channel levels so that the volume level of each channel is identical when heard from your listening position. ENHANCER ENTRY MENU 3 Press / to select the channel you want to adjust. You can adjust the sound beam output level of each channel by using the test tone or the audio output being played back
in each beam mode to achieve a more true-to-life surround sound experience.
You can use the test tone feature to output a test tone from
each channel to manually balance the channel levels.
Use this to set the channel levels so that the volume level
of each channel is identical when heard from your
listening position.

Set the operation mode selector to YSP.

Press TEST.
“TEST FRONT L” appears in the front panel display
and a test tone is output from the front left channel.

to select the channel you want
to adjust.
The front panel display changes as follows:
“TEST SUBWOOFER” is only available when a subwoofer
is connected to this unit and SWFR is selected for BASS
OUT in SOUND MENU (see page 83).
