240 CHAPTER 7: USING MULTICAST PROTOCOL COMMANDS undo igmp-snooping host-aging-time View System View Parameter seconds: Specifies the port aging time of the multicast group member, ranging from 200 to 1000 and measured in seconds. The default is 260. Description Use the igmp-snooping host-aging-time command to configure the port aging time of the multicast group members. Use the undo igmp-snooping host-aging-time command to restore the default value. This command sets the aging time of the multicast group member so that the refresh frequency can be controlled. When the group members change frequently, the aging time should be comparatively short, and vice versa. Related command: igmp-snooping. Example Set the aging time to 300 seconds. system-view System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z [SW5500]igmp-snooping host-aging-time 300 igmp-snooping Syntax max-response-time igmp-snooping max-response-time seconds undo igmp-snooping max-response-time View System View Parameter seconds: Maximum response time for a query ranging from 1 to 25 and measured in seconds. The default is 10. Description Use the igmp-snooping max-response-time command to configure the maximum response time for a query. Use the undo igmp-snooping max-response-time command to restore the default value. The set maximum response time decides the time limit for the Switch to respond to IGMP Snooping general query packets. Related commands: igmp-snooping, igmp-snooping router-aging-time.
