116 DeepMind 12D User Manual 10.8 Polyphony To change the POLYPHONY, press and hold the UNISON DETUNE EDIT switch. While holding the switch, you can then adjust the UNISON DETUNE fader to select the POLYPHONY from the available options. The following message will be shown to give you guidance while holding the UNISON DETUNE EDIT switch. 10.9 Program Help To access the program browser, press and hold the PROG switch. The PROG HELD help will appear while the PROG switch is held, showing additional guidance and commands. See section 4 for more details on these program shortcuts. • To change the current program to others in the same category : With the PROG switch held down, press the -/NO/+/YES switches to select the PREVIOUS/NEXT programs within the same category as the current program. • To change to a different category: With the PROG switch held down, press the BANK/UP, BANK/DOWN switches to select the PREVIOUS/NEXT category. • When you load a program, all the physical controls on the DeepMind 12D may not match the position stored in memory. In order to send all the physical positions to the program (rather than moving each individually until you reach the stored value), follow this procedure: With the PROG switch held down, press the WRITE switch. The current program will then be updated with the positions of the physical controls on the DeepMind 12D. • In order to return to a fixed point when creating programs, you can recall a default program that is configured without modulation or effects, and uses basic settings in each of the sections. To load the default program: With the PROG switch held down, press the COMPARE switch. The default program will then be loaded and the program name will change. 10.10 Poly Chord To access the poly chord WIZARD quickly, press the POLY CHORD switch, then press and hold any note on the keyboard, and use the rotary control to cycle through the available chords. Use the BANK/DOWN and BANK/UP switches to select other MOD options. See section 8 for more details. Here is an overview of the options: • To browse the available programs: With the PROG switch held down, press the GLOBAL switch or turn the Rotary control to browse the list of programs. Press PROG again, and the currently highlighted program in the list will become the current program. • To show a list of favorites: With the PROG switch held down, press the FX switch and turn the Rotary control. • To add the current program to the favorites list: With the PROG switch held down, press the FX switch and press the +/YES switch. A small happy face will appear in top right of the display of that program. Press -/NO to delete the program from the favorites. • To delete all favorites: With the PROG switch held down, press the FX switch and press the WRITE switch. The confirm using +/YES and the favorites list will be emptied. (No programs are lost.)
