98 en | Advanced Mode Dinion2X IP Camera 9.8.7 Alarm E-Mail As an alternative to automatic connecting, alarm states can also be documented by e-mail. This makes it possible to notify a recipient who does not have a video receiver. In this case, the camera automatically sends an e-mail to a user-defined e-mail address. Send alarm e-mail Select On for the device to automatically send an alarm e-mail in the event of an alarm. Mail server IP address Enter the IP address of a mail server that operates on the SMTP standard (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). Outgoing e-mails are sent to the mail server via the address entered. Otherwise, leave the box blank (0.0.0.0). SMTP user name Enter a registered user name for the chosen mail server. SMTP password Enter the required password for the registered user name. Format Select the data format of the alarm message. - Standard (with JPEG): e-mail with JPEG image file attachment. - SMS: e-mail in SMS format to an e-mail-to-SMS gateway (for example, to send an alarm by cellphone) without an image attachment. When a cellphone is used as the receiver, make sure to activate the e-mail or SMS function, depending on the format, so that these messages can be received. Obtain information on operating your cellphone from your cellphone provider. Attach JPEG from camera Check the box to specify that JPEG images are sent from the camera.
