CHAPTER 6 TROUBLESHOOTING F-4 No bell ring. Possible cause Step Check Ring delay 1 Ring delay is set to "0". Ring volume 2 Ring volume is set to "OFF". Connection between main PCB and NCU PCB Harness between main PCB and NCU PCB Speaker Relay PCB NCU PCB Main PCB 3 Main PCB and NCU PCB are properly connected. 4 Harness wire is damaged. 5 Replacement of speaker solves the problem. 6 Replacement of relay PCB solves the problem. 7 Replacement of NCU PCB solves the problem. 8 Replacement of main PCB solves the problem. Result Yes Yes No Remedy Set the ring delay to other than "0". Set the ring volume to other than "OFF". Fix the connection properly. Yes Replace the harness with a normal part. Yes Replace the speaker with a normal part. Yes Replace the relay PCB with a normal part. Yes Replace the NCU PCB with a normal part. Yes Replace the main PCB with a normal part. 6-32
