Charging the rechargeable battery pack Insert the plug on the AC adapter cord into the connector on the machine and insert the AC adapter plug into a standard electrical outlet. While the rechargeable battery pack is charging, the charging indicator light lights up. Charging time is approx. 3 hours. The charging indicator light turns off when charging is completed. A fully charged battery pack will continually print one full tape cassette at 77 °F. While the replacement period varies depending on the conditions of use, the rechargeable battery pack will generally need to be replaced after approximately one year.
