If this is not done, the machine may operate if the start switch is pressed by mistake, which could result in serious injury. • When replacing the needle • When not using the sewing machine and when leaving the sewing machine unattended Do not touch any of the moving parts or press any objects against the sewing machine while sewing. If this is not observed, it may result in personal injury or damage to the sewing machine. 6-1. Automatic sewing (automatic mode) • When carrying out automatic sewing for the first time, be sure to carry out a test sewing first. • In addition, if using the sewing machine when the ambient temperature is cold, carry out several test sewing operations to allow the motor to warm up. 1 Switch the mode to automatic mode. Switch the mode to automatic mode.
The sewing shape (1), program number (2), cutting operation (3) and
production counter (4) will appear in the display.

Select the desired program number (2).
The program number (2) changes in the order shown in the illustration
each time the
key is pressed. (The
key changes the order in the
opposite direction.)

Select the desired cutting operation (Cutting before sewing/No cutting/Cutting after sewing).

Place the material to be sewn under the work clamps, and then press the work clamp switch (5).
The work clamps will be lowered.
