Using cycle programs The sewing patterns which have been registered in independent programs (P01 - P20) can be combined to register "cycle programs" so that they can be run continuously. When sewing the sewing patterns in a certain order, it can be useful to record them in a cycle program beforehand. Cycle programs Max. no. of recordable programs Max. no. of steps 9 (C1 - C9) 9 (the same independent program can be selected several times) Program example The following shows an example of storing a cycle program into cycle program C1 that consists of three steps of independent program 01 with cutting operation on, and one step of independent program 03 with cutting operation off. Example: Setting contents for cycle program C1 Step number Independent program number Cutting operation Step 1 P01 Yes Step 2 P01 Yes Step 3 P01 Yes Step 4 P03 No 1 Press one of the following keys to select a sewing mode. (In this example, automatic mode is selected.) 0445B 2 Select cycle program number C1 (1). 0222B 0413B Independent program (Refer to P. 39) Cycle program (1) 0337B 0307B The program number (1) changes in the order shown in the illustration each time the key is pressed. The key changes the order in the opposite direction. NOTE: Cycle program mode is not available if an independent program has been selected. 57 RH-9820
