Shooting Problem Subjects for the Autofocus (continued) Shooting in Manual Focus Mode Mode Dial The focus can be manually set. 1 Press and hold the MF button, then turn the zoom ring to focus on the subject. z The ` icon and the MF indicator will appear on the LCD monitor (or in the viewfinder). z The AF frame area is magnified when [MF-Point Zoom] is set to [On] in the [ (Rec.)] menu.* * Except in the and modes, when the digital zoom is activated or a TV is used as the display. * Can also be set so that the image displayed is not magnified (p. 47). MF indicator z The MF indicator shows approximate figures.
