DSM-520 User's Manual Troubleshooting I am unable to access Napster™ or TotalVid content.  Make sure you have Windows® Media Connect running and that you are sharing the folder that contains the Napster™ audio files.  Make sure you have validated the D-Link® player from within Windows® Media Connect. I was able to browse and play content from my media player, but now I can no longer browse or play any content from my media server.  This is a problem we have noticed with Norton Anti-Virus 2005. Your media player caches the available media server for 30 minutes. During this time, if the connection between your PC media server and the media player was disconnected, you will need to restart your PC to solve this issue. When sharing files with the D-Link Media Server, my PC is very slow.  If you are sharing gigabytes of content, especially videos, please make sure that you are not running any other software that requires high CPU usage. It takes a long time to share files with the D-Link Media Server.  If you are sharing gigabytes of content with your media server software, it may take several minutes depending on the size of the content you are sharing. The DSM-520 will not play my AVI files.  Make sure that your AVI files are smaller than 2GB. AVI files have a limitation of 2GB. This is a limitation set in the AVI standard. The DSM-520 will not play my WMA Pro files.  WMA Pro files are currently not supported. The DSM-520 will play WMA files, but not WMA Pro files. The DSM-520 will not play my WMV files.  Make sure that your WMV files are not burned at a resolution up to 1080i. Playback of WMV files will only work if the resolution is up to 720p. Troubleshooting
I am unable to access Napster
or TotalVid content.
Make sure you have Windows
