5. Make sure the size and type settings for the multipurpose feeder are set to the correct value for the print media you have loaded. 6. Select print media source, size, and type in your software program and select the print media size and type on the printer operator panel. Loading Envelopes To load envelopes that are under 8.66 inches (220 mm) in width, insert the envelopes with the flaps open and toward the front of the printer, with the recommended print side face up. To load envelopes that are over 8.66 inches (220 mm) in width, insert the envelopes with the flaps closed and the short-edge of the envelopes facing into the printer, with the recommended print side face up. You can load envelopes up to the maximum fill line in the tray at one time. NOTE: Make sure set the envelope flaps are completely unfolded.
