3. Disconnect any cables that are connected to the expansion card. Steps 1. Press the blue expansion card retention latch and push down the latch to open it. 2. If you are not replacing the expansion card, install a filler bracket by performing the following steps: a. Align the slot on the filler bracket with the tab on the expansion card slot. b. Align the filler bracket with the slot on the system. c. Push the filler bracket downward until firmly seated. d. Close the expansion card retention latch. Figure 29.
