Open the blue expansion card retention latch lock. b. Slide the filler bracket out of the system. NOTE: Removing the filler bracket for integrated storage controller card is similar to removing the filler bracket under, installing a PCIe expansion card section. NOTE: Store this bracket for future use. Filler brackets must be installed in empty expansion-card slots to maintain FCC certification of the system. The brackets also keep dust and dirt out of the system and aid in proper cooling and airflow inside the system. 2. Hold the storage controller card by the edges, and align the connector on the card with the connector on the system board. 3. Lower the card into the system until the card is firmly seated. 4. 1.
