Removing SIMMs If you need to remove SIMMs from your computer (to install different ones, for example), follow the steps below: 1. Remove the rear internal drive bay bracket as described on page 3-12. 2. Set the computer on its side. 3. Use your fingers or a small screwdriver to carefully pull away the tabs that secure the SIMM at each end, as shown below. As you pull away the tabs, the SIMM falls to the side. Removing SIMMs
If you need to remove SIMMs from your computer (to install

Set the computer on its side.

Use your fingers or a small screwdriver to carefully pull
away the tabs that secure the SIMM at each end, as shown
below. As you pull away the tabs, the SIMM falls to the
side. Remove it from the socket.
