Troubleshooting The printer prints blank pages. Possible cause Your printer is not selected in your application or as the Windows default printer. Your printer is not selected in the Macintosh Chooser. Paper settings in the printer software are incorrect for your paper size. The print head nozzles are clogged. Solution Select your printer as the default Windows printer. See your Windows documentation or online help for instructions. Select your printer in the Chooser as described in the Setup Guide. Check the settings in the paper dialog box to make sure they're correct for your paper size. See Chapter 3 for more information. Clean the print heads by running a cleaning cycle following the instructions in Chapter 5. Note: In Windows NT 4.0, you can't uninstall the printer software with the Add/Remove Programs utility. See your Windows NT documentation to remove printer drivers from your system. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. 3. To uninstall your printer driver (Windows 98 and Windows 95 only), select EPSON Printer Software in the program list. To uninstall Status Monitor 2, select EPSON Status Monitor 2 in the program list. 4. Click the Add/Remove button. Follow the instructions on the screen to uninstall your software. 5. Uninstalling Printer Software
If any of the suggested solutions in this chapter tell you to
uninstall and then reinstall your printer driver or Status
Monitor 2, follow the steps in this section. To uninstall
EPSON Net!2, see your

Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT 4.0

Double-click the
My Computer
icon, then double-click
the
Control Panel
icon.

Double-click
Add/Remove Programs
.
3.
To uninstall your printer driver (Windows 98 and
Windows 95 only), select
EPSON Printer Software
in the
program list.
To uninstall Status Monitor 2, select
EPSON Status
Monitor 2
in the program list.
4.
Click the
Add/Remove
button. Follow the instructions on
the screen to uninstall your software.
