Overview System Instruments Flight CNS Interface REPLY STATUS When the transponder sends replies to interrogations, a white R indication appears momentarily in the Transponder Data Box. ENTERING A TRANSPONDER CODE Entering a transponder code: 1) From the full-screen PFD and/or split-screen PFD Page, press the XPDR Softkey. 2) Press the CODE Softkey. A Transponder Code Box appears with the cursor on the first digit in the code. 3) Enter the desired code using the FMS Joystick and press the ENT Key. EIS CNS Interface GPS Navigation Flight Planning Hazard Avoidance Additional Features Integrated Autopilot Annun/Alerts Transponder CODE Code Entry Softkey Transponder Code Entry (Split-Screen PFD Page) VFR CODE The VFR code can be entered either manually or by pressing the XPDR Softkey, the CODE Softkey, then the VFR Softkey. When the VFR Softkey is pressed, the preprogrammed VFR code is automatically displayed in the code field of the Transponder Data Box.
