System Overview Flight Instruments Integrated Autopilot LOCALIZER WITH GLIDESLOPE LOC Mode (lateral) and GS Mode (vertical) are both armed by pressing the ALT/ PTCH Softkey and then the AP APPR Softkey from the G3X PFD. LOC/ILS approach captures are inhibited if the difference between aircraft heading and localizer course exceeds 105˚.
