System Overview Flight Instruments EIS CNS Interface GPS Navigation Flight Planning Annunciations & Alerts STATUS ALERTS If the commanded operation cannot be achieved due to the limitations configured, the following messages can be displayed over the pitch ladder. The annunciation is removed once the condition is resolved. Alert Condition Up-elevator Trim Required Down-elevator Trim Required Annunciation TRIM UP TRIM DOWN Description The autopilot does not have the required elevator authority to reach the desired flight condition. Status Alerts The following messages are displayed in the G3X Autopilot Status Box. Alert Condition Annunciation Description System Failure AP Autopilot inoperative Manual Disengagement AP Autopilot Disengaged Integrated Autopilot System Alerts SPEED ALERTS If the remote autopilot unit supports speed alerts and the airspeed limitations configured have been reached, the following messages can be displayed over the pitch ladder. The annunciation is removed once the condition is resolved. Alert Condition Overspeed Protection Underspeed Protection Annunciation Description MAX SPEED External autopilot unit will raise the nose to limit the aircraft's speed. MIN SPEED External autopilot unit will lower the nose to prevent the aircraft's speed from decreasing.
