Editing Track Properties You can edit tracks that have been previously recorded. This includes renaming tracks, rearranging points in a track, and viewing a vertical profile of a track. To edit track properties: 1. Click the Tracks Tab. 2. Right-click on the track you want to edit, then select Track Properties from the right-click menu. The Track Properties window appears. 3. Use the following features to edit the route as desired: Edit Toolbar-Use the buttons on this toolbar to cut, copy, paste, and delete Via points from the route, or undo/redo the last action. Center map on selected item-check the box to center the Graphic Map on any selected point in the track. Invert-click to reverse the order of the points in the track. Filter-click to display the Track Filter. See Setting the Track Filter for more information. Show Profile-click to display a profile of the elevation of the points in the track. Show On Map-select a track point and click Show on Map to show the selected point on the Graphic Map. Link-this feature allows you to include a link to a file or URL containing information related to the track. For example, you could link to an electronic document containing a description of your track, a digital photo you took while recording the track, or a Web site devoted to the area you were in when you recorded the track. You can enter the desired file name/URL or click Browse to select the desired file. Click the Open Link button to activate the link. 4. Click OK to save your changes. 89

Editing Track Properties
You can edit tracks that have been previously recorded.
This includes renaming tracks, rearranging points in a
track, and viewing a vertical profile of a track.
To edit track properties:
1. Click the
Tracks
Tab.
2.
Right-click on the track you want to edit, then select
Track Properties
from the right-click menu.
The
Track Properties window appears.
3.
Use the following features to edit the route as desired:
Edit Toolbar
—Use the buttons on this toolbar to cut, copy, paste, and delete Via points from the route, or
undo/redo the last action.
Center map on selected item
—check the box to center the Graphic Map on any selected point in the
track.
Invert
—click to reverse the order of the points in the track.
Filter
—click to display the Track Filter.

Show Profile
—click to display a profile of the elevation of the points in the track.
Show On Map
—select a track point and click
Show on Map
to show the selected point on the Graphic
Map.
Link
—this feature allows you to include a link to a file or URL containing information related to the track.
For example, you could link to an electronic document containing a description of your track, a digital photo
you took while recording the track, or a Web site devoted to the area you were in when you recorded the
track.
You can enter the desired file name/URL or click
Browse
to select the desired file.
Click the
Open
Link
button
to activate the link.
4. Click
OK
to save your changes.
