Creating a modem dial-up connection in Windows Vista After your computer recognizes the device as a modem, create a new modem dialup connection on your PC. You can use this connection to dial up and connect to the Internet. 1. On your computer, click Start > Control Panel. 2. Double-click Network and Sharing Center. 3. On the left panel of the Network and Sharing Center window, click Set up a connection or network. 4. Click Set up a dial-up connection, and then click Next. 5. Enter the dial-up connection information including the phone number, user name and password, then select the Remember this password check box. 6. Click Connect. Your computer then starts to dial up to the Internet using your device as a modem. 7. When a dialog box that shows you are connected to the Internet appears, click Close. 8. In the Set Network Location dialog box, choose the type of location where you will use the dial-up connection.

Creating a modem dial-up connection in Windows Vista
After your computer recognizes the device as a modem, create a new modem dial-
up connection on your PC. You can use this connection to dial up and connect to
the Internet.
On your computer, click
Start > Control Panel

Double-click
Network and Sharing Center

On the left panel of the Network and Sharing Center window, click
Set up a connection or network
.
Click
Set up a dial-up connection
, and then click
Next
.
Enter the dial-up connection information including the phone number, user
