Page 127 highlights

Guidelines for repacking the printer CAUTION CAUTION Use the following guidelines when you need to repack the printer: Remove and retain any DIMMs (dual inline memory modules) that you have purchased and installed in the printer. Do not remove the DIMM that came with the printer (the "boot DIMM"). Static electricity can damage DIMMs. When handling DIMMs, either wear an antistatic wrist strap or frequently touch the surface of the DIMMs' antistatic package, then touch bare metal on the printer. To remove the DIMMs see "Installing memory" on page 165. Remove and retain any cables and optional accessories installed in the printer. Remove and retain the print cartridge. To prevent damage to the print cartridge, store the cartridge in its original packing material, or store it so that it is not exposed to light. Remove and retain the HP Jetdirect EIO print server card. Use the original shipping container and packing material, if possible. (Shipping damage as a result of inadequate packing is the customer's responsibility.) If you have already disposed of the printer's packing material, contact a local mailing service for information about repacking the printer. If possible, include print samples and 50 to 100 sheets of paper or other media that did not print correctly. Include a completed copy of the "Service information form" on page 126. HP recommends insuring the equipment for shipment. ENWW Guidelines for repacking the printer 125
