At this point, we want to move our HP Jetdirect to port 8 of the switch. This will force 802.1X authentication to happen. We can review the event log on the system that is running our IAS server to determine whether authentication has been successful or not. In the Event Viewer, under System, 802.1X events will be logged. Double click on an event for IAS. Here is a successful logon recorded by the event view for our HP Jetdirect device. 59
