Product Description BCC circuitry provides the following functions: ■ Bus configuration (see "Setting DIP Switches" in Chapter 3) ■ Bus expansion (LVD) ■ SCSI environmental services (see page 17) ■ System fault detection A BCC filler panel (Figure 5) replaces the second BCC when redundancy is not required. Caution The BCC filler panel maintains even cooling inside the disk system when the second BCC is not present. A BCC filler panel must be installed if the BCC is removed. Product Description 21
