Page 114 highlights

Chapter 5 Monitoring Displaying Logical Drive Information The icons on the right side of the Controller View window represent the logical drives (also known as logical units or system drives) created by the controller out of the available physical drives. To display information about a particular logical drive, do the following: • Double-click a logical drive icon in the Controller View window. See Figure 5-5. The Logical Drive Information window appears (see Figure 5-13). Figure 5-13. Logical Drive Information for a RAID Controller Logical Drive Information provides the following information about the currently selected logical drive. • Indicates the logical drive number (in the window's title bar). • Indicates the RAID level of the logical drive's configuration. • Indicates, by Yes/No, if the logical drive's configuration is optimized for speed, capacity, and is fault tolerant. 108

Figure 5-13. Logical Drive Information for a RAID Controller
Logical Drive Information provides the following information about the currently
selected logical drive.
Indicates the logical drive number (in the window’s title bar).
Indicates the RAID level of the logical drive’s configuration.
Indicates, by Yes/No, if the logical drive’s configuration is optimized for
speed, capacity, and is fault tolerant.
