Chapter 5 Monitoring Process Status Monitoring Initialization Status If logical drives are currently being initialized, open the Initialize Status box to monitor the progress, or cancel the process, as shown in Figure 5-23. To cancel ALL drive initializations at the same time, perform this procedure: 1. Click the Select All button, which selects all drives for cancellation. 2. Then click Cancel to stop all the initializations. 121

Process Status Monitoring
Initialization Status
If logical drives are currently being initialized, open the Initialize Status box to
monitor the progress, or cancel the process, as shown in Figure 5-23.

The Initialize Status box displays the progress of one or more full logical drive
initializations. See Figure 5-24.
To cancel ALL drive initializations at the same time, perform this procedure:
1.
Click the
Select All
button, which selects all drives for cancellation.
2.
Then click
Cancel
to stop all the initializations.
