Chapter 4 Configuration 3. In the Launch Application box: ◊ Enable or disable this Application entry using the Enabled check box. It is only necessary to launch the application once, if you want to prevent the application from launching a second time, when FCArray Assistant detects a second alarm condition and the application is already operating. ◊ Enter the name of an application to launch if events, severity level, or messages require it. ◊ If you don't remember the name or path of the application, click the Browse button. 4. To test the application launch alarm using the settings you've just made, click the Test button. 5. When you are satisfied with the application launch setup, click the OK button. Your new application entry appears in the lower window of the Alarm Setup dialog box. Refer back to Figure 4-17 for an example. Remove Application Launch Alarm 1. Select the Launch Application alarm type in the upper window of Alarm Setup. 2. Select the Launch Application entry to remove in the lower window of Alarm Setup. 3. Click the Remove button. 4. At the confirmation message, click No to keep the application launch entry. 5. Or click Yes to remove the application launch entry. Properties You may view a particular entry's settings for any of the four alarm types (Pager, Fax, E-mail, and Application), by selecting an entry in the lower window of Alarm Setup and then clicking Properties. 46

In the Launch Application box:
Enable or disable this Application entry using the
Enabled
check box.
It is only necessary to launch the application once, if you want to
prevent the application from launching a second time, when FCArray
Assistant detects a second alarm condition and the application is

Enter the name of an application to launch if events, severity level, or
messages require it.
If you don’t remember the name or path of the application, click the
Browse
button.

To test the application launch alarm using the settings you’ve just made,
click the

button.

When you are satisfied with the application launch setup, click the

button.
Your new application entry appears in the lower window of the Alarm

Remove Application Launch Alarm
1.
Select the Launch Application alarm type in the upper window of Alarm
Setup.

Select the Launch Application entry to remove in the lower window of
Alarm Setup.

Click the
Remove
button.
