Chapter 5 Monitoring Capturing Data to a File To capture data to a file, refer to the following procedure. See Figure 5-15. 1. Click the Capture Data button under the Settings tab. A Capture Data dialog box is displayed. See Figure 5-18. Figure 5-18. Capture Data to a File 2. Select the Start Capture option button and type a filename to save the data file. 3. Or, click the Browse button to find an existing data file to append. 4. Click the OK button. Data defined by your analysis strings will be generated. The data can be seen as a Line graph, Pie graph, or Bar graph. 5. Click the Stop Capture button to end data capture. Data will be collected until you click the Stop Capture button. You may wish to save the contents of the data buffer to a file for later examination. Saving Data Buffer to a File To save the data buffer to a file, refer to the following procedure. See Figure 5-15. 1. Click the Capture Data button under the Settings tab. 2. Click the Save Buffer option button, and type a filename to the save the data to a file. See Figure 5-18. 3. Capturing Data to a File
To capture data to a file, refer to the following procedure. See Figure 5-15.
1.
Click the
Capture Data
button under the Settings tab.
A Capture Data dialog box is displayed. See Figure 5-18.
