Each version of the CD-ROM has a four-digit Document Number printed on the disk. Obtain the Status Report for the CD-ROM in one of the following ways: • FAX: Call HP's FAX system at 1-800-333-1917 (or 1-208-344-4809 from your FAX machine). Request a FAX using the CD-ROM Document Number. • Internet: Access the URL at: http://www.hp.com/netserver/servsup Click the line that corresponds to the CD-ROM Document Number. • Internet FTP: Address: //ftp.hp.com/pub/servers • BBS: Call 1-208-344-1691; download .txt from the NSNAVCD library. • CompuServe: GO HPPC; download .txt from the HP NetServer library. FCArray Assistant Diskette Preparation This procedure creates the necessary floppy diskette(s) used to install the FCArray Assistant software from within Windows NT 4.0, on both the managed server and the remote management workstation. To create the necessary diskette(s) used for installation, refer to the following procedure. 1. Insert the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive with the Windows NT 4.0 system operating. This initiates the auto-run feature of Windows NT 4.0. 2. From the HP Navigator Main menu, choose NetServer Utilities. 3. Select More NetServer Utilities and then choose Diskette Library. 4. From the Diskette Library, select the FCArray Assistant for Windows NT in the diskette library. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to create the FCArray Assistant diskettes (2). 6. Label the diskette(s) FCArray Assistant Installation: Disk #1 and Disk #2. 7. Remove the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive. 8

FCArray Assistant Diskette Preparation
This procedure creates the necessary floppy diskette(s) used to install the FCArray
Assistant software from within Windows NT 4.0, on both the managed server and
the remote management workstation.
To create the necessary diskette(s) used for installation, refer to the following
procedure.
1.
Insert the
HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM
into the CD-ROM drive with
the Windows NT 4.0 system operating.

From the HP Navigator Main menu, choose
NetServer Utilities

Follow the on-screen instructions to create the FCArray Assistant
diskettes (2).

Label the diskette(s)

7.
Remove the
HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM
from the CD-ROM drive.
