A RAID Configuration RAID configuration of disk drives in the second hot-swap mass storage cage differs for the following cases: • Initial configuration of the HP NetServer with two integrated HP NetRAID channels • Later addition of the second integrated HP NetRAID channel NOTE Integrated HP NetRAID does NOT support tape drives. Configuring both hot-swap mass storage cages as RAID means that the NetServer's I/O board does NOT support tape drives in the non-hot-swap shelves. To configure both hot-swap mass storage cages as RAID and use a tape drive, order the D5025A SCSI controller board , and install it to control the tape drive.
