2. Remove four screws (callout 1), and then remove the scanner cover (callout 2) and the sheet-metal plate (callout 3) together. CAUTION: The scanner cover (callout 2) and sheet-metal plate (callout 3) can be easily separated. Do not lose the plate while servicing the product. Remove four screws (callout 1), and then remove the scanner cover (callout 2) and the sheet-metal
plate (callout 3) together.
CAUTION:
The scanner cover (callout 2) and sheet-metal plate (callout 3) can be easily
separated. Do not lose the plate while servicing the product.
TIP:
When the cover is reinstalled, make sure that the black screws (callout 4) are installed in
the correct screw holes.
