Error messages You may see error messages on the camera or on your computer screen. Error messages on the camera Message Possible cause Solution BATTERIES DEPLETED Camera is shutting down Battery power is too low to continue operation. Replace or recharge batteries, or use an optional HP AC adapter. Battery low Battery power is low and the camera will shut down soon. Either recharge or replace the batteries. Batteries are too low for Live View Battery power is too low to use Live View on the Image Display. Take pictures with the viewfinder microdisplay instead of the Image Display. Replace or recharge batteries, or use an optional HP AC adapter. Unsupported card The card in the memory slot is not a memory card or is not a supported memory card. Ensure that the memory card is the proper type for your camera. (See Appendix C: Specifications on page 99.) No card in camera The camera does Install a memory card. not have a memory card installed.
