Default is enabled. ● ASF BIOS Mode (On/Alert Only/Off). Allows you set ASF BIOS mode to on, off, or only send alerts. Default is On. ● ASF Watchdog Timer (enable/disable). A timer started at system startup and cleared at the end of POST. If the timer is not cleared within the specified amount of time, the hardware sends an alert to the Management Console indicating the system has hung. If enabled, this setting allows you to set the watchdog timer. Default is enabled. Recovering the Configuration Settings This method of recovery requires that you first perform the Save to Removable Media command with the Computer Setup (F10) Utility before Restore is needed. NOTE: It is recommended that you save any modified computer configuration settings to a USB flash media device and save the device for possible future use. To restore the configuration, insert the USB flash media device with the saved configuration and perform the Restore from Removable Media command with the Computer Setup (F10) Utility.
