Lift the front edge of the palm rest (3) until it rests at an angle, and then slide the palm rest forward (4) until it detaches from the computer. 8. If the computer is equipped with a fingerprint reader, remove the fingerprint reader board cable from the opening (5) in the top cover. 9. Remove the palm rest.
