Setup Menus Block Mode Factory default: Unchecked The setting of this option determines how data is transmitted to the host. When unchecked, each character entered from the keyboard is immediately sent to the host which processes it then echoes it back to the display. When Block mode is checked, characters are displayed but not sent to the host until the Enter key is pressed. The size of the block of characters is determined by the Line Block Mode option. Line Block Mode Factory default: Unchecked The setting of this option determines how much data is transmitted when the emulation is in Block mode and the Enter key is pressed. When unchecked, the contents of the screen (page) will be sent to the host. When checked, the contents of the current cursor line will be sent. Multinational Character Sets Factory default: Checked The setting of this option determines which characters may be generated from the keyboard. When unchecked, the character set for the keyboard nationality specified in the Emulation Settings dialog is mapped to G0, the default character set mode (as indicated on the status line). In effect, national characters from the Additional character set are swapped with Standard (ASCII) characters to form the National set mapped to G0, so the Additional set contains the missing ASCII characters. This means that you can still generate the full range of ASCII and Additional characters by using the Char Set function (refer to the section "Displaying Alternate Characters" on page 350 for details). 154 PT250 Settings
