MDIS Prism Emulations A TeemTalk session with the name specified in step 2 will be created and listed in the Start > Programs menu under Neoware TeemTalk. A shortcut icon will also be created on the desktop if requested. Using the TeemTalk Emulator Window This section describes the basic procedure for creating an MDI P12\P8 or MDI Prism-9 emulation session from the TeemTalk emulator window. 1 Display the Settings menu from the menu bar and select Emulation... to display the Emulation Settings dialog. 2 Select MDI P12\P8 or MDI Prism-9 in the Alpha Emulation list box. 3 Click OK to accept the settings and close the Emulation Settings dialog. 4 Display the File menu and select New Connection... to display the New Connection dialog. 5 Specify the settings required to connect to the host. Refer to the chapter "Host Connection Settings" on page 55 for details. 6 Click the Connect button to make TeemTalk attempt to connect to the host with the supplied settings. You can save the session settings by selecting Save Session or Save Session As in the File menu. Keyboard Mapping The illustration on the following page shows where MDIS Prism keyboard functions are mapped to keys on the 101/102 key Enhanced AT keyboard layout. Special key functions that are provided on the MDIS Prism keyboard can be mapped to any key on your keyboard by using the MD virtual key names listed in the Define Keyboard Macros dialog. This dialog is displayed by selecting Keyboard Macros... in the Settings menu. Refer to the section "Define Keyboard Macros" on page 242 for details. 340 Keyboard Mapping
