The Status Bar BQ 3107 Emulation Along the bottom of the TeemTalk window is a status bar that shows the status of various operations. 1 2 3 45 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 Field 1: This will always display RUN, indicating that the line shown corresponds to normal operation. Field 2: Indicates whether you are in Block or Character mode. In Block mode, keyboard entered data is displayed and processed locally, allowing you to edit it before a block of data is sent to the host. In Character mode, keyboard entered data is sent simultaneously to the host and the display. You can change the mode using the Operating Mode option in the BQ 3107 Settings dialog. Field 3: Displays a bell symbol when the terminal emulation receives a BEL command from the host, or when the user has pressed the wrong key. Field 4: Displays ERR when an error is detected. Field 5: Displays BSY when the host is busy processing data. The keyboard will be locked when this is displayed. Field 6: Displays warning messages. Field 7: Not used. Field 8: Not used. Field 9: Displays P.DISCT when the printer is disconnected. Field 10: Displays OVERFLOW when there is a data overflow. Field 11: Indicates the current line and column position of the cursor relative to the top left corner of the display, which is L01:C01. Field 12: Displays the current terminal emulation mode: 3107.
