Host Connection Settings button. These are described in the section "TN5250 Options" on page 64. Force Negotiation These settings determine whether or not the Telnet Binary or EOR options are supported. Both are set to no by default. no Will not force any negotiations. It will leave it up to the host to decide what to do. DO Will force negotiation. The host will be informed that the option is supported. DONT Will force negotiation. A negotiation packet will be sent to the host telling it that the option is not supported. Break Settings The setting of these options determine whether or not a timing mark and/or carriage return is sent with a Telnet break packet. A timing mark is sent by default. Send Location This enables you to enter the location of this terminal which may be used by the host to provide a list of users currently logged in giving their name and location. 60 TCP/IP Connection Settings
