Setup Menus In Echo mode, keyboard entered data is sent only to the host. The host is then responsible for returning the data to the display. In Character mode, keyboard entered data is sent simultaneously to the host and the display. In Block mode, keyboard entered data is displayed and processed locally, allowing you to edit it before a block of data is sent to the host. Turnaround Char Factory default: CR This option specifies the line turnaround character (LTC) that is generated when a Read command is received or one of the block data transmission keys is pressed. Note that selecting DC3 will disable the XON/XOFF inbound and outbound pacing characters. Send Operation Factory default: Page The setting of this option determines the effect of pressing the Send and Send Line keys.
