Hardware Requirements To avoid integration difficulties and possible board damage, your system must meet the requirements outlined below. Processor Support for one or two Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® processors, or Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® processors (80-W versions only). Memory The Intel® Server System SR1530CL / SR1530HCL / SR1530HCLS and the Intel® Server System SR1530CLR / SR1530HCLR / SR1530HCLSR provide six DIMM sockets across two channels, Channel A and Channel B. Channel A consists of DIMM sockets A1, A2, and A3. Channel B consists of DIMM sockets B1, B2, and B3. See the figure below to locate the DIMM sockets.
