Frequently Asked Questions Hints, Tips and Limitations This section provides hints, tips, and limitations. WIN WIN 98 95 WIN NT For Windows 98 and Windows 95: Hibernation is not supported if OS/2 Boot Manager is installed. If you are using the Intel USB camera and the system resumes from suspend mode, the USB camera is disabled. To enable it, unplug it and plug it in again. Your computer might not enter suspend mode or hibernation mode after the end of a timeout period that was specified in the ThinkPad Configuration program because of the CD-ROM drive property settings. If you want to use suspend mode and hibernation mode, change the properties of the CD-ROM drive as follows: 1. Click Start. 2. Move the cursor to Settings and click Control Panel. 3. Double-click System. 4. Click the Device Manager tab and double-click CDROM. 5. Click the CD-ROM drive name under CDROM; then click the Properties button. 6. Click Settings tab and remove the check mark from the Auto insert notification check box in Option by clicking on it. 7. Click OK, and restart the computer. If you want to use the scrolling or magnifying glass functions of the TrackPoint, you need to disconnect any PS/2 mouse and enable the internal TrackPoint. For Windows NT: Hibernation is not supported if OS/2 Boot Manager is installed. Hibernation is not supported when the drive is formatted for NTFS. 104 ThinkPad 390X User's Reference
