Introduction-For Your Safety Observe proper precautions when using the AC adapter Improper use of the AC adapter may result in electric shock or fire. Observe the following precautions when using the AC adapter with this product: • Do not disassemble, repair or modify the AC adapter. In the event of malfunction or should the AC adapter break open as the result of a fall or other accident, unplug and take the AC adapter to a Nikon-authorized service representative for inspection. • Keep dry. • Do not use in the presence of flammable gas. • Keep the AC adapter clean of dust. If dust or grime becomes attached to the metal contacts or body of the power plug, remove it with a dry cloth. Continuing to use the product in these circumstances may cause fire. • Do not connect or disconnect the AC adapter power plug with wet hands, as this may cause an electric shock. iii

electric shock or fire. Observe the following
precautions when using the AC adapter with
this product:
