Macro mode shooting The macro mode allows you to shoot at a distance of 20 cm to 80 cm (0.7 ft. to 2.6 ft.) from your subject. Focusing is usually slow when you get close to a subject. However, in the mode focusing is performed quickly. When the optical zoom lever is at the maximum wide position and you are as close as 20 cm (0.7 ft.) to your subject, you can fill the entire frame with your subject.
